I have now worked with Phil for the last 3 months. I did not use to follow structured workouts and an organised training plan, and the whole experience has been a revelation to me.
No 2 sessions are ever the same, and each workout is always very interesting, engaging, and has a precise goal. I particularly enjoy the swim sets, by focusing on shorter intervals + rests you end up focusing on technique more and maintaining a higher speed.
When I recently went back to swimming with my Wednesday morning group at the local Triathlon Club after the Christmas break, I suddenly found myself swimming with the front pack! That is priceless.
My confidence ahead of Ironman South Africa has improved massively.
